Groups, venues - Marcos is the founder of the Bluebirds, Cincinnati's premier R & B group. He also performs with many other area musicians/ groups, including Cincinnati bluesman Keith Little, The Goshorn Brothers, Roger Yeardley, Steve Coghill, Charlie Fletcher, Rick 'Bam' Powell, Teddy Wilburn, Randy Villars, Chris Arduser, and many others.

Guitarist - Marcos is an award winning guitarist. Winner of a Cammy award. His guitar playing appears on countless CDs of other area artists as well as of course the Bluebirds and Shades of Blues CDs. He can be found performing in varied venues (see performance schedule).

Songwriter - Successful songwriter; many of his songs in blues, R&B, rock, and other styles appear on the Bluebirds CDs.

Radio Programmer - Marcos and Roger Yeardley, co-host the Curved Air Show every Thursday from 4-5 PM on WAIF-FM (88.3). The show features recorded and "live-in-the-studio" music of local and indie musicians, and discussion of current events and politics from an alternative point of view, often featuring interviews with nationally known authors/ commentators.
